How can I make this a vegan pumpkin pie smoothie?

If you would like to make this a vegan pumpkin pie smoothie, you will want replace the honey. I like to add real maple syrup when I am skipping the honey however, keep in mind that this does change the nutritional value. Also, make sure you are using a vegan protein powder. What can I use in place of almond milk in this non-dairy smoothie?

If you want to make keep this a non dairy smoothie but can not or do not want to use almond milk, there are other options. Ingredients for pumpkin pie smoothie

  • pumpkin puree
  • unsweetened vanilla almond milk
  • banana
  • organic honey
  • pumpkin pie spice
  • vanilla
  • vanilla protein powder
  • chopped pecan pieces (optional)

If using fresh fruit instead of frozen, add 1 cup of ice cubes. Adjust ice or liquid accordingly for desired consistency.

Ingredients
 

  • ½ cup 100% pure pumpkin puree
  • ½ cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
  • ½ banana frozen
  • ½ tablespoon organic honey
  • ½ teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
  • *If using fresh fruit instead of frozen add 1 cup of ice cubes. Adjust ice or liquid accordingly for desired consistency.

Optional:

  • chopped pecan pieces
  • *Optional ingredients are not included in nutrition calculations.

Instructions

  • Blend all of the ingredients together until smooth.
  • Garnish with optional chopped pecans.
